Faith is the thing that allows her to step out of her world driven by technology and helps her see the deception around her. The small whisper of a God who loves her drives her to value the lives around her more than herself and her future. Because her belief of the value of others, she is able to risk things that others might be afraid to risk, so that her students might live a full and completely functioning life. Though faith seems like a small force, when one realizes it comes from an omnipotent God who loves each person on this planet, one might recognize how powerful it can truly be. In fact, when I taught VBS we always sang the song My God is so big so strong and so mighty there’s nothing my God cannot do. And that is true. All things are possible through Christ.
